Account and Data Deletion Request

This page explains how Town Eats users can request deletion of their app account and associated personal data. You can use this page even if you have already removed the Town Eats app from your device.

How to request deletion

To request deletion of your Town Eats account and associated personal data, send an email to darsaf.developers@gmail.com with the subject line Town Eats Data Deletion Request.

Please include the following information so we can identify and verify your account:

  • the phone number used in Town Eats;
  • your display name, if you entered one;
  • your city and country;
  • your role in the App, for example customer, venue owner or courier;
  • a clear statement that you want your Town Eats account and associated data deleted.

Please do not send passwords, bank card details, passport scans or other unnecessary sensitive documents.

Verification

For security reasons, we may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner. Verification may include confirming the phone number, checking information already connected with the account or asking you to confirm the request from inside the App when possible.

What data may be deleted

After a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize personal data associated with your Town Eats account where possible, including:

  • account and profile information, such as phone number, display name, city, language, selected role and account status;
  • saved customer delivery addresses and delivery instructions;
  • device notification tokens connected to your account;
  • venue, courier or moderation information directly connected with your account, where deletion is possible;
  • uploaded images and menu information that belong to your venue account, where deletion is possible and appropriate;
  • temporary order chat messages and support information connected with your account, where they are no longer needed.

Data that may be retained

Some information may be retained when necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, service integrity or backup recovery. For example, we may keep limited order, moderation, abuse-prevention or technical log records where permitted by law. When possible, retained records will be minimized or anonymized.

Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten or deleted according to our backup rotation and technical maintenance process.

Processing time

We will review deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible. In most cases, we aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless we need additional time because of security checks, technical limitations, legal obligations or an active dispute.

Effect of deletion

Deleting your account may remove your access to Town Eats and may affect customer orders, venue profiles, courier access, uploaded menu items, moderation status and related app features. If you operate a venue in Town Eats, deletion may make that venue unavailable in the App unless another responsible person is assigned or the venue is recreated later.
