1. Who operates Town Eats

2. Important service notice

Town Eats is an informational and communication tool. We do not process food payments inside the App, do not collect bank card details, do not hold user money and do not act as a restaurant, seller, delivery company, mediator or payment provider. Orders, food quality, prices, payment, delivery terms and other arrangements are handled directly between the customer, the venue and, when applicable, the courier.

3. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect the following types of information:

• Account and profile information: phone number, display name, language, city, country, selected role and account status.
• Customer information: delivery address, delivery instructions and order comments that you enter in the App.
• Venue information: venue name, owner or responsible person name, address, phone numbers, working hours, categories, photos, menu items, item descriptions, prices and availability.
• Courier information: courier profile details, contact phone number and order-related delivery information.
• Order information: selected items, quantities, prices shown by the venue, order status, order history, temporary order chat messages and order-related notifications.
• Location information: approximate or precise location only when you allow it or select a location on the map, for example to choose a delivery address, show nearby venues or build a route.
• Photos and files: images that venues voluntarily upload for venue profiles, menus, banners or dishes.
• Device and technical information: Firebase Cloud Messaging token, device type, operating system version, app version, diagnostics, crash data and security logs.

4. How we use information

We use collected information to:

• create and authenticate user accounts;
• show city-specific venues, menus, prices and availability;
• send orders from customers to venues and coordinate delivery with couriers;
• show delivery addresses, maps and routes when needed;
• send push notifications about orders, messages, moderation and important app events;
• moderate venue registrations, venue updates and menu updates;
• prevent abuse, spam, fraud and unauthorized access;
• provide support, fix bugs and improve the App.

5. Sharing of information

We share information only when it is necessary for the App to work, for legal reasons or with service providers that help us operate the App. For example, order details and delivery contact information may be visible to the relevant customer, venue and courier involved in that order. Public venue information, such as venue name, address, working hours, photos, categories and menu items, may be visible to App users.

We may use third-party services such as Google Firebase services for authentication, database, storage, cloud functions and push notifications; Google Maps or Routes services for map and route features; Google Play services for app distribution and platform functionality; and private Telegram notifications for moderation and operational alerts. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and only to the extent required to provide their services.

6. Location, maps and routes

The App may request location permission to help you choose a delivery address, find relevant venues or calculate a route. You can also enter an address manually or select a point on the map. Town Eats does not use background location tracking unless a future version clearly explains and requests such permission.

7. Push notifications

We use push notifications to inform users about order updates, temporary chat messages, venue moderation, courier or venue status changes and other important App events. For this purpose, the App may store a device notification token connected to your account or role.

8. Payments

Town Eats does not collect payment card numbers, bank account details or payment credentials. If a customer pays a venue or courier, the payment is arranged outside the App directly between the involved parties.

9. Data storage and security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information, including access rules, authentication checks and encrypted connections where supported by our service providers. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we work to reduce risks and limit access to information.

10. Data retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide the App, maintain order history, support moderation, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at darsaf.developers@gmail.com. You can also request account and data deletion through our Town Eats Account and Data Deletion page. Some records may be retained for security, legal or operational reasons where permitted by law.

11. Children

Town Eats is not designed for children to use independently. If a minor uses the App, they should do so only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate permission. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes or when legal, technical or operational requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
